The Arab School of Urology (ASU) was founded in 2017 as an educational platform of the Arab Association of Urology (AAU). ASU delivers intellectual and surgical skills education through multidisciplinary approach including online education, master classes, live surgery events, and hands-on-training. These educational models should cover main disciplines of minimally invasive laparoscopic and endourological techniques, onco-urology, functional urology, pelvic reconstructive surgery and andrology & male reproductive.

Target candidate

Teaching and learning of urological skills, for doctors at any stage of a urological career, and for allied professionals working in the area. We use a range of materials and techniques for effective learning, and also for enhancing the learning experience. ASU aims to stimulate, coordinate and organize all postgraduate teaching and education activities at the highest level possible. Therefore, all teaching activities organized by the ASU will be open to constant evaluation.

4. 4- Functional Urology
5. 5- Andrology and male reproductive
6. 6- Uro-Oncology
7. 7- Pediatric Urology

Research Council

Should provide a platform for well-structured research projects, and offer consultation for researchers all over the Arabic world to help them conduct higher quality studies.

Scholarship Program Office

Provides short term visits exchange opportunities between renowned Arabic academic centers to junior urologists. Each Directory is working on developing an integrated, well-structured scholarship programs, that will be accredited and validated from the affiliated recognized universities to certify the programs and delegates will be provided with a professional certificate to improve his privileges in his sub-specialty

How to become a faculty member?

A faculty member should have minimum number of good quality publications and surgical activity logbook. They will be nominated or elected, and partially replaced once in 1 years in a competitive approach to guarantee best quality members.

The following resources could be the financial support of the activities of ASU:

Dissemination

The announce of foundation of ASU with the endorsement of the Arab Association of Urology with its distinguished members and through encouraging all the urologic associations in all Arab countries to give ASU a platform for delivering its activities through the regional, national and international meeting.
