ASU Faculty


The Arab School of Urology has been initially comprised of seven sub-speciality committees in addition to the research council.

Each committee was composed of an average of 8 faculties with their academic career and clinical experience fulfil the criteria of profession in their sub-speciality. The priority of faculty members selection is based on the nomination of each Arab national society and subjected to the approval of the ASU scientific office and ASU steering committee.

The scientific office together with the steering committee could nominate individual faculty member in case of there is no sufficient number nominated by the national societies or upon the need of special experts.

The scientific office together with the steering committee could nominate an international expert act as an advisory for each committee, the period of their term is subjected to the same terms and conditions of the main faculty members.

The period of each committee is 2 calendar years starting from January and could be renewable only for one more period.

Job description:

Working in a coordinated team work in developing the structure and content of:

  • Specialised courses
  • Workshops and hands on training
  • Building well-structured integrated programs

Working as course/workshop providers upon request and availability

Arab School of Urology has no financial liability to the above-mentioned activities. The host organization of ASU activities should arrange the accommodation and local transfer of the invited faculty as the minimum requirement, the flight expense will be discussed with the host organization upon their budget.
